Lithium ion battery that could be charged in under a minute?
Alright, so this discovery was brought to us by the Koreans. I am going to have to get all technical on you here for a minute. They have achieved this feat by dipping the cathode material, lithium manganese oxide into a solution containing graphite. This in turn apparently allows for quicker recharging of the batteries. This rather new development could be a huge game changer for EVs. See most everyone that I know have been brainwashed by the fossil fuel industry, and hence suffer from great range anxiety. But with the advent of this technology, their anxiety comes very much a non-issue if you ask me!And for reference purposes, here is a graphic of what this development could look like:To further support this story, you can go here and see that this development was brought to you by the folks over at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in Korea.
