EPA's Cross-State Air Pollution Rule Struck Down By Federal Court

Apparently the U.S. court of appeals for the DC circuit has struck down an EPA rule that was instituted with the public in mind.

Yes, that is correct, the US district court of appeals has struck down this rule which was limiting the amount of sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxide which could be released by power plants. However I still do not get what this is going to do to an earlier court case that dealt with mercury emmissions from said powerhouses.

It appears as though the Kochesque libertarian agenda has won out for now. I just wish that all of these conservatives and libertarians would have to spend a week or more around the noxious fumes that are routinely given off by these powerhouses, as that is about the only way that they would understand how really nefarious it is!
