Clyde Dolin Dead: Alpha Natural Resources Mechanic Falls, Dies In West Virginia

Well Alpha Natural Resources has made the news again. This time because Clyde Dolin, a mechanic of theirs is now dead following a three story fall from Liberty Processing near Uneeda in Boone County.

I believe that Alpha has been so egregious in their conduct for the past three or four years something needs to be done about this! This is a good part of the reason why the UMWA (United Mine Workers of America) was formed in the first place. See accidents like this were more prevalent back in the day it was formed. But they are increasing becoming more prevalent again and I for one hope that labor in general firmly plants their foot down on this abuse of their workers.

But if Alpha continues to be in the news I will have to devote a page of my blog to them. So, for the lack of a better way of putting it I will wait here and see if they do not straighten their act up. If they do not, you will see a page devoted to Alpha!
