Yes you read that correctly. Apparently they have a feces powered motorized tuk tuk. Fecal matter has long been known by farmers and such as great fertilizer, but now it is powering a Rickshaw at the Denver zoo. And what is more they have a patent pending for such technology.
The Rickshaw is not 100% powered by animal excrement, as human trash is also involved in the gasification process which makes this thing go. Furthermore, this vehicle is going to make stops at several zoos throughout the west coast of our country before finally ending up in Palm Desert, California on the 27th of this month.
