The Koch Bros, Libertarianism and more

Who are the Koch brothers? What do they do? Well the answers to this you may be able to find in a vid a little later on in this blog article.

I know libertarianism appeals to many of you; but I must caution you that libertarianism is what got us in this shape in the first place. For those of you who know me you should know who Ayn Rand is and what she and Ronald Reagan did to this country. First of all, they made trading derivatives legal, whereas before Reagan held office it was illegal to even trade these instruments.

Where libertarians get into trouble every time is they hold onto this far fetched belief that the markets will control ALL which they do not.

Why am I talking about libertarians, I thought this was supposed to be about the Koch Bros? Well you see, the Koch Bros are ardent Libertarians. And they have apparently vowed to defeat President Obama this fall. Ever hear of the Cato Institute? How about Americans for Prosperity ever heard of them? These are just schills that were set up by the Koch Bros. In fact the TEA Party can trace its roots directly back to the Koch Bros.

They run a multinational company that is still privately held. What this means is you cannot go buy stock in the Koch Bros, plus being privately held has other added benefits. One of such is you can do things without as much public scrutiny as a public company would come under. But it is a safe bet to say that the Koch bros are a big reason why gas prices are so high at the moment-- from speculating in them.

Here is the video I promised you at the out set of this article.

  1. And now the Koch Bros. are suing the Cato Institute because they want full control of it. Apparently, the Cato Institute is too independent and too libertarian for the Koch's taste. The Koch's want them to tow the line by pushing the Koch's propaganda war against the U.S. I seems as if the Kochs don't like libertarians after all.

  2. Well, well, what a revolting development this has turned out to be! All of these anarchist libertarians-- no one can make them happy.

I for one blame high gas prices on them and not the President as they and their ilk are trying to blame Obama for it!
