The First Ford Focus Electric went to Google

Apparently the folks at Google have friends in high places. You see they received the first Ford Focus electric vehicle (EV for short). It is touted to get over 100 mpg and it can be charged within three hours with its 240 volt charger. Evidentially it has an on-board Level 2 charger. But it has no provisions for the fast acting Level 3 charger using the CHAdeMO protocol. But for it to be able to charge up in a little under three hours is quite an accomplishment. You can see a picture of Google's car below:
The first Ford Focus went to Google as a Christmas present of sorts. Here is a picture of the car in front of Google's headquarters I believe

Now something I should note is that its on-board charger is run by Windows rather than using something in the public domain like Linux. It is the only shortcoming of this car which I can find.

You can see the motor here. This is a blown up picture of said motor and its innards.

But something I should note is that the Ford Focus can be charged faster with its Level 2 charger than the Leaf can with its Level 2 charger. As well I might should also note that Leaf's Level 3 charger can mostly not be installed in the ordinary home as it requires three phase power and most people do not have access to that at home.
