Killington Using Cow Manure To Power Ski Lift
Well, I must say the folks in New Hampshire have used a rather creative way to harness electricity. You see, the folks at Killington, New Hampshire, which is located in Littleton, New Hampshire are using cow dung to create methane, which is in turn utilized to create electricity. For more on the subject you should click on this link. As of right now their production of electricity by this method is limited to five megawatts. It is touted to produce all of the electricity needed for their Gondola. It is folks like this who are making an investment not only in sustainable energy, but also a homegrown energy source. I would like to wish the folks at Killington the best in their endeavor!
