A breakthrough has just been realized with LED Lights

I must say that I am an avid fan of LED lightbulbs. But such lightbulbs are not without their drawbacks. Primarily among them is their cost for an American made LED bulb-- $100 for a 150 watt equivalent. But they also have other drawbacks as well, like the light that they produce is not so diffuse, it is rather directional.

Well this latest discovery comes to us from the Japanese. The new yellow phosphor, “CL_MS phosphor,” was co-developed by Koito Manufacturing Co Ltd, and research groups led by Professor Hideo Hosono of Tokyo Institute of Technology and Professor Hiroshi Sawa of Nagoya University. This technology could possibly change the way in which you think of LED's. Here is article which can tell you all about their revolutionary breakthrough.
