We need more solar, not less solar people!

Of course this goes without saying, but I am willing to bet that 99% of the public at large do not understand this. Worse yet, a large portion of the US electorate are hell bent on free market capitolism. But I am willing to bet the farm they do not understand how making more can lower the prices down.

Of course it goes without saying as well that we as a nation need to do this and thereby breaking the monopoly that has been given to the nuclear, coal, and natural gas fired 'peaker plants'.

Now the article which tipped me off to this is here for everyone interested in viewing it. In this article they go into great depth about the fact that peakers represent the dirtiest powerhouse. But in my opinion, they are all BAD! I mean why don't we do the serious thing and invest in our energy of the future. You know things like solar, wind, and tidal power. These are quite vast resources if we would only invest in them.
