The Sierra Club launches its wind works project

Electricity from renewables has more than doubled in the last five years. Wind energy has been a huge success-- creating more than 75,000 jobs alone!

But this path is not without its peril. A peril with political implications that is. You see everyone on the right is fine with things they way they are right now. Global warming is just a myth according to them. I do not know about you, but here in Southern Illinois we did not have much of a winter at all.

Currently there is a rather urgent need to make sure that the PTC (production tax credits) do not expire. If they are allowed to expire it will deal quite a blow to both the wind and solar industries. Why anyone would ever let them expire is far beyond me.
