Self-Driving Cars In CA: State Senate Approves Autonomous Cars

I have known about this for quite some time now; Google has actually been test driving this car in CA. Compliments of Google of course.

I believe that Google has test driven this car by loaning it to their employees. Could not ask of more from your employer. But, this is what tipped me off to it. And, of course, they go into great detail talking about how this new technology could actually be safer than having actual drivers.
