David Cote and Honeywell at large are just out of control!

Oh my goodness, you will never be able to guess the trick which was recently employed by the Honeywell CEO. According to this article by the Huffington Post, the microphone was taken from said reporter when he inquired to the Honeywell CEO. This reporter by the way was invited to this meeting and had his credentials as well.

Apparently Mr. Cote did not like his allegations of union busting. Furthermore he asked him about the releases of UF6 which have taken place since the Honeywell workforce was locked out early this month. Here is a video of said mic being jerked out of Mike Elk's hands.

These are all issues which are important to residents of Massac County and the surrounding communities. So one would have to question Mr Cote as to why he did not respond to the reporter's questions. Is it because his allegations of union busting were mostly true?

And while I am on the subject of Honeywell I must admit that I am bringing this news to you in a rather late fashion, but here are all the Illinois EPA hearings which were held on Honeywell's plan to concrete in their settlement ponds-- of course Honeywell was not a participant in said hearings. Perhaps what should be asked by the public at large is why Honeywell did not take place in these proceedings! They should be made to answer for their blatantly apparent oversight as well as disdain of this process!
