The People Who Are Energizing America

High energy prices hit us where it hurts the most-- in our pocketbooks! But high energy prices has also given rise to a renewable energy future and everything which comes along with it.

You can find many reasons listed for the high price that you pay at the pump. Who is to say they are right on these matters? One thing that they typically do not talk about is that fossil fuels are becoming more scarce by the minute. Add to this the fact that emerging countries such as China, India, and Brazil as well are consuming even more of this stuff and you can begin to see what is happening to all of us.

We are living in the age where solar is becoming more affordable by the day. Solar cells are even getting more efficient by the day as I talked about in my March 31 post as well as my March 23 post as well. Now both of these posts were kind of like a no-brainer to me. I mean by enabling the solar cell to capture light in a 3-D fashion it will surely increase said cell's efficiency.

I guess the only thing I would have to ask solar cell's manufacturers is why haven't they capitalize on this fact? Could it be that most solar cells are manufactured by the same evil corporations that make their money off of petroleum based fuels?

In this article they seem to talk about non-conventional ways of capturing energy. Like collecting methane produced by in large by a landfill.
