Well the ARM corporation has come up with a super efficient processor. Of course it is only a 32 bit processor but could be easily adopted for on board processing for home automation etc. Of course ARM is a British company so this comes as a let down for me and the USA loving public. In fact they say the secret to their success comes from going down to a 32 bit processor.
