Prairie Srate powerhouse, near Marissa Illinois

Well, this is not a totally green post. But I thought I would take this moment to tell everyone about the Lively Grove Powerhouse, otherwise referred to as the Prairie State Energy Campus, as my electric co-op as well as a city close to where I live has invested in it. Furthermore, this is a first of its kind as far as powerhouses go, as it has many partners from across the Eastern United States. But first I might should qualify this post by saying that yes, it burns some of our state's nasty coal. But the thing is it is the most technologically advanced coal burner in the country.
