Aqueous Lithium batteries in our future
I know that you must be asking yourself what an aqueous lithium ion battery even is. Well that answer is rather simple to give-- an aqueous lithium ion battery is one that contains an aqueous, or liquid electrolyte instead of the current 'dry cells'. Dr. Fabio La Mantia has received a nearly 1.5 million Euro grant from the German government. And he works at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum which was the actual recipient of such grant.
